Your typical neighbour:

You still have a large population of married couples however singles are more prevalent in this area. Larger population between the ages of 30-44 than any other area South of the QEW. Neighbourhoods South of Lakeshore you will find downsizers in the condos and townhomes, and North of Lakeshore young families.

What we love:

The Waterfront! Bronte Harbour and waterfront park offers a large boardwalk and harbor for sailboats. Catch Canada Day fireworks from this location or grab a bite to eat on the patio at one of Bronte’s fabulous restaurants.  Easy access to the QEW straight up Bronte Road is also a plus.

Types of homes:

Condo’s, townhomes, semi-detached and detached homes make up the Bronte community. Homes are predominately 26-60 years old with the newer condo buildings like The Shores under 10 years old.

The bottom line:

A small one bedroom condo can start around $400,000 and a Penthouse with Lakeviews can go up to $2,500,000. Single detached family homes start around $650,000 for a 1200 square foot home on a nice street.
